Description

 This course, including 4 modules, will provide managerial skills related with health and health sector reform. After finishing, the course managers will empower to have effective managerial roles in health system. Meanwhile Managers will be able to place and follow health system reform policies and outcomes to link with health system objectives. 

Target group:

 

Health mid and High -level  managers

Objectives

  •  To develop skills in planning and management, leadership and managing change;
  • To develop an understanding of health sector reform in order to provide effective and affordable services;
  • To be able to support health sector reform to address issues of inequity and accessibility

Module 1 : Policy content for health  and health sector reforms

Module 2: Planning for health and health  sector reforms

Module 3:Resources management for health and health  sector reforms

Module 4: Training the trainers for health

Effective management

Description

  The Effective Management course is an approach to management development, based on the assumption that certain managerial practices produce better results. It helps mangers to assess strengths and growth needs have related organization at all levels. It will enable managers to identify key areas where interventions can be more effective.

Health mid-level  and High-level managers

  • To develop the best  management initiatives for organization development  
  • To develop a deep  understanding of leadership and use it

Evidence based management

Description

  Evidence-based management provides tools and techniques for making the evidence-based case and the operational awareness to manage implementation and incorporate implementation issues in the feasibility analysis.

Target group:

 

Health mid-level  and High-level managers

Objectives

  • Describe the components of an evidence-based management
  • Review criteria in decisions regarding the evidence base for a variety of health promotion programs.
  • List components of a thorough QA/QI management

Title :

Community participation in Health

Description

 The concept of health for all and primary health care still is considering the main approach for achieving the optimum level of health.  It is proven that, Health cannot be achieved in isolation and one of the most important factors in health promotion is active partnerships between the communities and other stakeholders.  In light of above situation, NPMC offers the following community-participation course. The course intends to provide comprehensive and informative training/skills materials on empowering community participation in health.   

 

Target group:

* Programme managers at all levels

*  Technical teams from the concerned sectors 

 

Objectives

*  Developing community participation programmes  in Member States, the trainers who are capable of orienting and training the authorities, technical teams, programme managers, communities and other stakeholders.

*  Updating the knowledge of field managers and teams regarding the various aspects of community participation in health.

*  Reinforcing leadership and management skills for effective and efficient implementation of community participation in health.

The duration of the course may vary depending on the technical levels and roles of the participants .The   present form can be imparted in 10 days period
