In recent years, extensive efforts have been made that, while creating appropriate conditions for the development of international collaborations, have also built considerable capacity and knowledge within the Center itself. This can serve as a foundation for future development programs. Below are some of these initiatives:
Joint Programs with the World Health Organization (WHO):
Participation in JPRM for three consecutive biennial cycles and implementation of WHO-approved programs at national and provincial levels through the design of educational and research programs, as well as close cooperation with program advisors and acquisition of the planned resources and equipment.
Collaboration in the implementation of the Health System Reform Project by providing the necessary educational, technical, and expert facilities for holding related training courses, in partnership with the Nuffield Institute at the University of Leeds, UK, and training course instructors by sending them to attend in-person advanced programs at the University of Leeds.
Designing and implementing the “Health System Reform” educational program as a continuation of the Ministry of Health’s reform project, under the supervision of experts from the Nuffield Institute, and expanding the program nationwide.
Designing and implementing a model of “intersectoral collaboration and an upgraded model of health service cooperatives” within the framework of research projects.
Implementation of the CBI (Community Based Initiatives) project with the participation of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.
Joint meeting with the health reform team from Morocco’s Ministry of Health to explore opportunities for mutual knowledge and experience exchange.
Hosting the regional EMRO workshop titled “Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI).”
Implementation of the MEP project.
Participation in the development of the Knowledge Management Service (KMS) program.
Educational needs assessment of health system managers and the design and production of educational packages.
Monitoring, evaluation, and implementation of the e-learning model for health system managers.
Organizing a "Train the Trainer for Hospital Management" course for participants from Iraq and Afghanistan in cooperation with WHO in September 2018.
Organizing an online training course on strengthening the health system for achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and health security during the COVID-19 pandemic in September 2020.
Organizing the first international webinar on Hospital Management in August 2021.

Conducting a training course for developing hospital management skills in eight thematic areas for the Eastern Mediterranean Region.
