The Knowledge Generation Department has a function to focus on the issues and challenges in managing the health system as well as the predicted trends for the future of the system. This is to create the practical knowledge for utilization in health system management. In other words, the generated knowledge in this department will primarily consider the current realities in the health management system and its probable obstacles ahead.
It is noteworthy that the purpose of this department is not merely to generate knowledge in the field of health management, since this purpose is under investigation in research and training departments at other universities and research institutes as well. However, the scientific output of this department addresses current health concerns and the future of health system management. Needless to say that the generated knowledge will be presented by Knowledge Transfer Department in the form of training programs.
