Training of Trainers (TOT) workshop marks a successful completion in the first WHO joint training program on “training hospital management trainers” with National Public Health Management Center of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. Due to the efforts made by NPMC colleagues in September 2018, the programs could completely meet the participants’ needs.
Along with the main training programs that WHO was in charge of their implementation, extracurricular activities took place as well. These activities provided an opportunity to get an insight into Tabriz with an overview of Tabriz's culture, history, and attractions alongside the Tabriz 2018 tourism event.
On Tuesday, August 28, 2018, the participants were hosted by the Mayor of Tabriz, with the presence of the mayor, his deputies, and the Chancellor of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Somi in Bam-e Tabriz restaurant which is one of the top tourist attractions in Tabriz.
The next day, sightseeing and having dinner was in Kandovan, a historic village close to Tabriz, which is famous for its wonderful rocky architecture. Also, during their sojourn in Tabriz, the participants visited historical texture of the city such as traditional bazaar and some other historic places. At the end, the guests visited modern shopping malls of Tabriz.
