Work Plan

As a WHOcc, NPMC has developed 7 activities to meet it's specified Terms of reference (ToRs):

1.Activity One: Continuing the health planning and management short courses

Expected Outcome(s):

1- produced a comprehensive training package on health management issues.
2- Deliver regular training workshops on health planning and management.
3- Sharing knowledge, networking and experience exchange among health managers.


2. Activity Two: support provided to expand the MEP in new sites ( including other universities)

Expected Outcome(s):

1- SWOT analysis of MEP in last implementation
2- a comprehensive new MEP printed package revised based on new needs in health system management
3- a two week training course on MEP
4- expand MEP in the region
3. Activity Three: support the library and KMC

Expected Outcome(s):

1- Draw knowledge tree of the organization
2- Identified and Developed knowledge community in the organization
3- Developed coefficients of performance or COPs
4- Developed qualified Software Requirements Specification for knowledge management in the organization
5- Identified threats of KM in the organization
6- Developed Organization's mission in line with knowledge management
7- Developed appropriate localized software for knowledge management

4. Activity Four: Develop professional courses on EBM & KMC

Expected Outcome(s):

1- produced a comprehensive training package on EBM
2- deliver regular training workshops on EBM
3- sharing knowledge networking and experience exchange among health managers
5. Activity five: Develop educational modules and workshops for Intersectoral based initiatives for health

Expected outcomes:

1- extract health related processes of each organization
2- set indicators for health related processes
3- prioritized health related indicators
5- Preparation to implementation

6. Activity six: Modeling for Control strategies of congenital anomalies



Expected outcomes:

1) The incidence of congenital abnormalities is known.
2) Survival rate of children with congenital anomalies is determined
3) natural history of congenital anomalies and genetic disorders in the area is known
4) a model for prevention is designed

7. Activity seven: Develop researcher-training courses in health systems

Expected outcomes:

1) produced a comprehensive training package on researcher training course
2) Deliver regular researcher training courses
3) Enhance capacities of health care professionals in wider range
4) Finding problems of health system by health staff
5) Solving health related problems by health staff
